Your privacy is important to us. Here is how we handle your data.
Data Collection
We collect your username, email (if provided), and any research artifacts or papers you upload to provide our service.
If you tick “Email me this summary” on the free paper summarizer, we store the email address you enter with the paper’s DOI and the time, and use it to send that one summary once. Leave it unticked and we store no email. To have an address removed, contact support.
AI Data Usage
When you trigger AI features, relevant snippets of your workspace context are sent to our LLM providers (e.g., OpenRouter) to generate responses. We do not use your data to train foundation models without your explicit consent.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand product usage and Sentry to diagnose application errors. Default personally identifiable information sharing with Sentry is disabled.
